Terms & conditions

These terms and conditions (the "Terms") govern access to and use of the Quedeo app and website (the "Service"), owned by Rubén Méndez Vallés (sole trader / self-employed). By signing up or using the Service you accept these Terms; if you do not agree, do not use it.

1. Description of the service

Quedeo is a platform that lets you discover and create plans (meetups and activities), join them and meet people with similar interests. Quedeo connects users but does not organise or take part in the plans: these are created and carried out by the users themselves.

2. Who can use Quedeo

To register and use the Service you must be 18 or over and have the legal capacity to accept these Terms. Only one account per person is allowed, and you must provide truthful information and keep it up to date.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know at contacto@quedeo.com if you detect any unauthorised use. The processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy policy.

4. Rules of conduct

When using Quedeo you agree not to:

• Post illegal, offensive, violent, sexual, discriminatory or hateful content.
• Harass, threaten or impersonate others, or share third parties' personal data without their permission.
• Send spam, unsolicited advertising or use the Service for unauthorised commercial purposes.
• Create fake, misleading or dangerous plans.
• Attempt to access the systems without authorisation, extract data automatically (scraping) or disrupt the Service.

5. User content

You are solely responsible for the content you post (plans, text, photos, messages). By posting it, you warrant that you have the right to do so and grant Quedeo a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content within the Service in order to provide it. You can delete your content at any time; certain copies may persist temporarily for technical or security reasons.

6. Plans and in-person meetups

Plans take place in the real world and at your own risk. Quedeo does not verify users' identities or supervise plans, and is not responsible for what happens during them or for the conduct of other users. Use common sense: meet in public places, tell someone you trust about your plans, and act with caution.

7. Moderation

We may review, remove or hide content, and suspend or delete accounts that breach these Terms or the law, in order to protect the community. If you spot any abuse, write to us at contacto@quedeo.com.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, the "Quedeo" brand, its logo, design and software belong to its owner and are protected by law. You are granted no rights over them beyond the normal use of the app.

9. Availability and warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do our best to keep it running, but we do not guarantee that it will be free of errors or interruptions. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Quedeo will not be liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the Service, the plans or interactions between users. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be limited by law, nor any rights you have as a consumer.

11. Cancellation and termination

You can stop using Quedeo and delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account (see also the Privacy policy). We may cancel your access if you breach these Terms.

12. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Service or in the law. We will publish the current version on this page with its date. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept it.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. If you act as a consumer, the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your EU country of residence will also apply.
